Webinar: Next Steps for Auto Enrolment

18 July 2024

Auto Enrolment is on its way. What do employers need to know?

Historic Automatic Enrolment legislation passed both Houses of the Oireachtas just before the Dáil summer recess and is due to come into effect in early 2025. Around 800,000 employees, between the ages of 23 and 60, who earn at least €20,000 a year and who are not already members of a workplace pension, will be automatically enrolled in the new scheme.

Auto Enrolment  is a significant and welcome change to pensions in Ireland as it will bring so many more employees into the pensions system.

Watch our webinar below -  Preparing for Auto-Enrolment in Ireland: A Comprehensive Guide for Employers.

Hosted by Brian Sexton, Head of Consulting at Unio Employee Benefits, this webinar is essential viewing for employers with any queries about the introduction of the new auto enrolment legislation.

Learn the key components of the legislation and what the next steps should be to ensure compliance and maximise benefits for employees.

What will you learn:

 - How to prepare for this new pension requirement;

 - How to assess the gap between your current scheme and the auto enrolment scheme;

 - How to decide on the best route for your employees; and,

 - How to approach making a plan for existing staff, and future-proofing it for new starters.

Employers are likely to have specific questions about how all this will impact their own pension schemes. If you have any queries on the roll out of Auto Enrolment in general, or how the system will affect your company schemes, we encourage you to get in touch with your Unio client manger and they will work with you to put a plan in place.

Contact your client manager directly or get in touch at queries@unio.ie.
